The challenge
The City of Galena's old website was outdated, unresponsive, and in need of updated features to enhance the user experience for Galena residents. The City of Galena also wanted to rearrange their website structure, which included over 200 pages.
The solution
Global Reach designed and developed a custom, WCAG-compliant website for the City of Galena. We added several new SiteViz modules, including an upgraded Reservations module to handle reservations of city entities, and an Alerts module to send real-time alerts to subscribers. Online payments were also added to allow for donations, making payments for different applications and reservations, and more. With an enhanced Submission Forms module, all PDF forms were transformed into user-friendly online formats. Global Reach assisted with sitemap reorganization and set up redirects so that users with links to the old website will be brought to the new location.
