Products
The Product module allows you to add product listings to your website and categorize them. Organize and display products based on category or applied search filters. The module provides all the functionalities and features necessary to effectively sell products.
Adding a Product
It is imperative to maintain all details about a product in an organized fashion. SiteViz will guide you with easy-to-follow steps, so that each product on your website will be listed in the exact way you want it to.
When a review is submitted, you are notified to approve the comment. This helps to always keep spam off the website. In the interest of time, reviews can be approved in bulk by selecting their checkboxes.
Save time updating anything from pricing, images, inventory, or even adding new products by taking advantage of the bulk import option using Excel files. By referencing the SKU, SiteViz will automatically update any content included in the file.
Organize your merchandise into categories and make your site easier for customers to navigate through while also boosting your search engine ranking. Each category may have its own description and banner image to display above the list of items.
Product Attributes
When multiple products have similar attributes, like clothing sizes, apply an attribute template to add all attributes at once instead of entering all clothing sizes on each item. When using an attribute template, you may edit the attributes on a specific product or apply the change to all products within that template.
If an attribute template needs to be updated, you have the option to apply the updates to all existing products with that template or to only new products moving forward.
Each attribute may have a price adjustment applied to it. When selecting features of a product to purchase, the cost variance is shown directly next to the option and reflected in the cart.
Product Options
If you find yourself entering many products with similar features, then you may duplicate an existing product with one click. From there, you will only need to update a few fields before posting.
Choose between Standard, Digital, and Gift Card product types. To maintain a user-friendly CMS, SiteViz will only show the fields which apply to your selection.
Sometimes products are related and often purchased along with other merchandise. When you select a product to cross sell, it will be featured as a “Related Product” for browsing customers.
Similar to a category, items in your catalog can be associated with and filtered by brands.
Product Availability
List product availability as online or in-stores directly on the website. Since SiteViz keeps track of your inventory levels, not only will you never oversell, but customers can also see the quantity available in real-time.
When a product is no longer in stock, you may choose whether or not to allow back orders. If back orders are not allowed, SiteViz will automatically remove the product from the website when inventory runs out or update it with a custom backorder message.
Add a message that will post when scheduled or auto-populate when an item is out of stock. This is a great place to let customers know when you expect to have the item again.
The Extras
Easily manage tax-exempt and tax-class items so that they are billed properly at checkout. Each individual product has its own settings.
Add pricing tiers to a product when the price varies depending on the quantity selected. Many clients use this for promoting discounted bulk purchases.
Products can be featured on the home page in many ways. Our favorite is the auto-rotating carousel.
Put your best foot forward! Determine the description, availability and any other relevant information that you would like the user to see when searching for products on platforms like Google Shopping or catalogs.com.
Easily create an affiliate link for a product by giving it a name and assigning a URL. An affiliate link may be marked inactive or deleted when necessary.
Your organization’s vendors are vital to your success. The vendor's feature allows you to add to and maintain a vendor list in SiteViz. This feature provides a summary of contacts and contact details so your team can quickly get up to speed on who they are using, while also providing you with peace of mind that they have the right information at hand.
