The challenge

The Iowa Judicial Branch website houses a massive amount of information relating to cases, rulings, jury duty, fine payment, and much more. They came to Global Reach in search of a solution that would offer their site visitors a better user experience and give their staff a better and more efficient way to manage content.

In addition, they desired a more targeted search functionality that allowed users to search through all the files on the website rather than individual pages. They also needed a simpler way to manage the myriad sections of their website that dealt with the different phases of a case – all of which previously required separate content entry along the way.

The solution

To those ends, Global Reach overhauled the information architecture and created an exceptional design based on a thorough understanding of the client, their audience, and their needs.

In addition to the efficiencies innately provided by the SiteViz content management system, the Global Reach development team made enhancements to their Files Module to allow for more fine-tuned searching of documents on the website. They also created a custom module designed to handle the management of every aspect of a case from one location, cutting down on hours of behind-the-scenes management for the client.
